Hollywood. It's a jungle out there *rawr*. If you can't spend the cash on new studs, or can't collaborate tops with working pants, accessories, hand-bags and shoes, get out! If you wear a single number that was out more than a week ago then you are smacked with the label "out of date" for months to come. Ok, I over exaggerated just a tad bit. But in my defense...it is a jungle out there, in regards to fashion.
Peoples have just put out their Best Dressed of 2006 list. The people (as in you) have voted, they tallied and here are the results. The top 12 ferocious fashion predators standing on top of, what I like to call, well look at the title. I, for one, had enough with pictures for at least a week (darn you NY Fashion Week!), but I really can't do a 'Best Dressed' blog without them can I?
Jennifer Aniston - The Natural

Oh my gosh! It's Jennifer Aniston! Wait, this isn't an article about her and Vince? What impossible!
Bah, that was a 'brainless' moment from me. But here is a late congrats, two claps everyone, for Jen \(^0^)/. Though I am surprised to see that she was made 1 out of the 12 listed, I guess it's better her than some other ragged out celebrity (ie. Beyonce...wait, she's on this list...damn it). Can't argue that Jennifer can pull of almost anything in them slim physique of hers *growl*.
Halle Berry - The Classic

One critic once said, forgot the name sorry, "If you are tired of sex with Halle Barry, you are tired of life." Well put, and take that Eric and David. Damn right, she still got it. Who would look at her and say she's 40? Beautiful skin tone, awesome body and success in her industry, she truly is the 'American Beauty' in more than one sense. I am surprised to see her on the top list also, because I thought it was time for a shift from the usual cameos in this game. Oh wait, here comes one :D
Jessica Alba - The Newcomer

Thank goodness. It's Alba (I don't care what anyone says, she was hot in The Fantastic Four). I guess it's no shock that she made it to the top of Hollywood's best dressed list. I can't argue with this one (neither can you *smirk*). She's young, hip, and the new it-girl for many. Though I gotta say I am getting real bored of her face...psh yeah right. The word 'gorgeous' doesn't do justice for Alba. I just realized I am talking more about how these people look rather than how they dress, but I can't help it.
Beyonce Knowles - The Diva

You know she's got back, uh-huh. God. No she doesn't. I am probably the only guy in the world who says this, but Beyonce is so out-stretched, like the rubberband that has been flexed one too many times (ie. the rubber straps on my boxers, but that's another blog entry - look forward to it). Bootylicious? Perhaps, but it still doesn't float my boat. I blame my rocks, or AKA opinion without reason. Still, grats to Beyonce for making the list.
Eva Longoria - The Dynamo

The Desperate Housewives actually have nothing to be desperate for. They got fat bank accounts, fame, beauty and then some. Especially true for Eva, who is noted as the hottest amongst the cast. She makes it to Best Dressed without effort really. Her smile (I gotta say, more intriguing than Alba's) is worth millions, and similar number of fans will spaz at the sight of it. But 'Dynamo'? Who wrote this? What the hell is 'Dynamo'? Where did you previously work, Hanna Barbera? Enough questions, I want names.
So those were the 1st 5 of the top 12. Not in any specific order, they were just posted in that manner on People. Once again nothing biased. If you want to check out the remaining 7 you might wanna stop by here. The list goes on to include those from Kate Moss (the badass model) to the Christina Aguilera (everyone's favourite pin-up girl).
Now you saw the Best Dressers of 2006, now onto the Worst! Oh fun... Except that I haven't actually picked up the issue of the magazine. So that will have to wait, or better yet go get it now from Dominion or something. Which doesn't seem like a bad idea actually *rushes to the car*

People are always interested in Hollywood fashion.. damn it. I personally don't like them leading others... good masks, good bodies though.
And I don't understand why Alba wanted to show here nipples to every perverted males by wearing transparent cloth..... marketing, probably.
Stop changing names! Awesome...노!
But you can't help but be interested in Hollywood fashion because that's where you will see the new 'in' clothes that you wouldn't normally see in the streets you know (unless you live in Europe with them fashion-manias - Italy anyone?).
Also, everything done in Hollywood is marketing, even Hilton's infamous video :D.
You got xanga! Lured into that little hellish trap with the help of peer pressure, it doesn't matter that you use blogger, you're one of us now.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed both of your fashionistic (new word for you, it's made up ... I think) entries. Jasong, you do not disappoint!
On a side note, I disagree with People's top fashion icons of Hollywood, because even though they do dress nice (as some of them pay a buttload of money for a stylist to make 'em look that way anyway), they're not innovative or interesting. It's boring, everyone does the same thing, hell, my MOM dresses like them, and she don't need to stylist *finger snap, neck movement*
Side note: I think I just fell in love with Anna Sui. Oh horrors.
elan>> Anna Sui, don't you just love her? *giggle* To 'defend' the idols here, they are the ones that actually gets everyone into a fad. Celebrities and stars might dress similarly, but most of the time it is the 'hollywood' people that makes us wear things similar to what they are wearing (or at least, that's what I think). They are the leaders, and we are the humble followers...I just degraded myself :(
